  • Vision Therapy - Learning Disorders - Orthoptics

Vision problems often are not fully solved through the use of lenses alone. Problems related to focusing and pointing of the eyes require special treatment through Optometric vision therapy.
Some people are handicapped by the fact that their eyes operate inefficiently resulting in poor visual performance. Optometric vision therapy for children and adults with visually related learning and job performance disorders is a significant part of our treatment programs. Orthoptic procedures are used in cases of strabismus (cross-in or out), and amblyopia (lazy eye).

  • Children's Vision Care

Developmental and functional optometry have devised methods of evaluating children's vision development at a very early age. Our programming and guidance of children's vision helps youngsters to cope with the demands of our complex culture from infancy to adulthood.

  • Consultation for School and Industrial Vision

Because the scope of optometry is so comprehensive in vision care, we are called upon to consult with schools, industry and other groups about problems and potential solutions regarding vision demands of technical tasks, vision screening programs, and environmental lighting. We use our eyes every day on the job or in school and good vision is important in being productive, efficient and comfortable in our work or school.
