About us2020 is an important year for Dr. Olson, as it marks the 45th year he has been in practice.
"I really enjoy helping our patients with their eye health and vision care needs." We have late after work appointments (last one starting at 6pm on Monday or Tuesday evening), other appointments throughout the week and also, we are in the office two Saturdays a month (between 9am until 2pm, by appointment). We strive to help our patients with their particular eyewear and/or contact lens fitting needs. Contact lens fitting and Rx eyewear selection is not a one size fits all process; it can often take several visits to assure we are providing the optimum glasses and or contact lenses for our patient's visual task needs and desires. |

Dennis L. Olson O.d.OptometristDr Olson has a background in mathematics and aeronautical engineering with degrees from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and the University of Washington in Seattle. While in Seattle, he worked with behavioral/developmental optometrists to establish a volunteer program in his church that provided care to kids with learning problems that could not afford private care.

Impressed with the results achieved and the challenges of behavioral optometry, he returned to school and received the Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University (in Oregon) in 1975. Dr. Olson has practiced in San Jose since graduation.

angelinaDOCTOR'S ASSISTANT/OPTICIANAngelina is Dr. Olson's Assistant and skilled optician. She has had a variety of experiences in the Optometric field for over 10+ years. A graduate of Bryman College, where she studied Medical Administrating. She also has a background in Customer Service and care. Angelina can help you schedule an appointment that best matches your individual needs! She really enjoys helping patients with their visual needs.
